Tamiya TT-02 King of Clubs GT-e

The Tamiya GT-e class is straight from the popular King of Clubs Regional Race series established in 2020 coming out of Covid, getting us back on track. There are several TT-02 kits available all with realistic looking shells and a price that is not a scary introduction to competetive RC racing.

Whilst the GT-e class is a little slower than the Tamiya M-Chassis, they offer an excellent starting point for anybody who wants to get into RC racing without spending lots of money. The racing is very close and competitive and like its full size counterpart, is great fun. The basic kit will cost around £130 for the kit which usually includes ESC and Torque Tuned Motor, all you need is radio, servo and battery to get racing.

Following in the footsteps of the King of Clubs we have adopted the KoC rule set to give a level playing field, a useful list of hopups should you feel they are necessary and the knowledge that you are racing the driver not their cheque book.
