Electric Frontie Touring Cars
Frontie Touring cars are high performance front wheel drive racing cars based on various real life saloon racing cars seen on tracks around the world. They offer the driver a great deal of scope to fine tune their cars for optimum performance to suite each driving style and are very fast.
With the strict control of the power plant we have seen the frontie class evolve into a great club class, bringing competetive racing back to the club. With so many frontie drivers we are able to better spread ability between races, even on Wednesday nights, so you qualify against drivers of a similar ability. With an overall championship and a formula based championship running alongside, you also get to compete in a championship rather than seeing the tops drivers always being the same 3 drivers.
We closely follow the King of Clubs and BRCA FWD National rules with some exceptions which keeps the field level and allows you to move on to National racing around the country. In short tyres are controlled, esc and motor combo are controlled which means you know what to buy and can be sure others are running the same equipment, then it is down to practice, setup and driver ability.
Prices for these cars range from around £300 for a good basic car to £650 for a top of the range chassis (these prices do not include radio gear or battery)
